Animals are raised on pastures year-round. Cattle and bison are not permitted to be finished in feedlots. Our farmers and ranchers raise animals that are well suited for outdoor living and sustainably and re-generatively manage their environments.

Prescott Meat Company is committed to sourcing only the healthiest and best tasting meats including many Old World Breeds. We work with farmers and ranchers through the Global Animal Partnership (GAP) Animal Welfare Certified label program which means that animals are raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and are fed a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products. The higher the number, the more the animal’s environment mimics its natural environment. We strive to have all Pasture Raised Step 4 & Animal Centered Step 5 labels in our store.
